Port Credit Roofing - Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated; March 1, 2026
Scope
This policy covers deposits, payments, cancellations, and refunds for roofing services provided by Port Credit Roofing to residential and commercial customers in Ontario.
Deposites and scheduling
-
A deposit may be required to secure materials and schedule your project.
-
Deposits are applied to your final invoice. If you cancel after we or scheduled crew, reasonable costs may be retained (see below).
Your right to cancel
-
You may cancel up to 48 hours before work begins, for a full deposit refund.
-
If you cancel less then 48 hours before work begins, we refund the deposit minus any incurred costs (e.g., materials ordered, disposal bookings, permits)
Once work begins
-
Work begins when materials are delivered to site or crew arrive to perform roofing work.
-
Inspections/estimates: free estimates are not refundable (they're free). Paid inspections are refundable only if canceled at least 24 hours before hand.
-
Completed work: payments for completed phases aren't refunded. If you have concerns about workmanship, contact us. - Our workmanship warranty and compliant process come first (see below).
Problems & remedies
-
We stand by our work. If something's not right, tell us within 7 days of completion. We'll inspect and, if required, repair at no cost during the warranty period.
-
Refunds for completed work are rare and considered only when required by law or where a resolution can't be reached. We'll document issues and proposed fixes.
Weather & delays
-
Weather delays don't trigger refunds. We'll reschedule promptly.
Payments & method
-
Refunds go back to the original payment within 7-10 business days after approval
